Vintage Bike Exhibit: A vintage bike exhibit entitled “A Century of Bicycle Dreams” is currently on display at the McHenry Museum, 1402 I Street, Tuesday through Sunday, from noon to 4 p.m. The exhibit, courtesy of local collectors Jon Olson, Vic Stencil and Jim Frazier, is in celebration of the upcoming Amgen Tour of California Stage 4 Finish on May 19. A variety of bicycles and accessories from as far back as the 1890's through current times are available for viewing. “A Century of Bicycle Dreams” will be on display through May 30. Modesto Downtown Criterium: This will be downtown Modesto between 12th and 14th / “H” and “J” Streets. The course is 0.7 mile flat L-shaped loop of city streets. 5-90 degree right turns and 1-90 degree left turn on good pavement; many “bott-dots”. May 18 Modesto Nuts Game: Come watch the Modesto Nuts take on the Bakersfield Blaze. All kids attending the game will receive a free Amgen education booklet and program. May 18 Bike to the Bands: Ride your bicycle down to the Copper Rhino, listen to great bands with headliner "Arrival" (A Journey Tribute Band), put your name in for the bike giveaway and park you bike in the secure parking provided by Copper Rhino. 927 10th Street.
