Here is where cycling enthusiasts of all ages immerse themselves in the excitement of a world-class sporting event, celebrate a healthy lifestyle and take in the unique sights, sounds and flavors of Modesto. Amgen Tour of California’s Lifestyle Festival is the place to be. The festival features a health & fitness expo, cancer awareness education, cycling gear, family activities, bike safety, food, entertainment and more! Plan to come early and stay late. There will be plenty to see and do for the entire family.

Breakaway from Cancer Village
Gallo Center for the Arts

Founded in 2005, the Breakaway from Cancer™ initiative continues to raise awareness and funds to support valuable services and programs, provided free of charge, that help people living with cancer. The initiative was created by Amgen as a complementary component to the company’s sponsorship of the Amgen Tour of California. Visit over 20 exhibitors featuring everything from the American Cancer Society to YMCA.

Stage 3 Start Opening Ceremonies
Start line at 10th and I streets
9:30 a.m.

Kick off the Amgen Tour of California Stage 3 Start during the opening ceremonies with activities to include: Mayor’s welcome, rider’s call to start line, the National Anthem performed by three-time State Champion Beyer High School Marching Band, and the posting of colors performed by Sherwood Elementary School Color Guard.

Experience the drama and excitement of America’s most successful cycling race as the world’s top professional teams roll through downtown Modesto during Stage 3 of the eight-day race through California. Stage 3 will start in front of Modesto’s Gallo Center for the Arts, located at 1000 I Street.
